You would think with fire damage, someone would step in for a gut reno or teardown. I can't fathom why they are just sitting on the property like that.

Right? It's gotta be getting so gross in there. Will probably have to be torn down when they do finally sell it.

I think that was the story they put out for a while, but it’s got to be more than that. The fire was to the kitchen only and didn’t spread to the dining area. And this all happened more than 4 years ago. That’s a pretty long time for the insurance not to pay.
The only thing I can think that maybe would hold them up on a legitimate claim is if their fire suppression system was not operable and they Brewbachers lied about it. But even then, 4 years is still a long time to still be trying to work it out.

He could just be waiting for a buyer at the right price. Area has been pretty active the last few years. Fire was in 2021.

That would be my guess...sitting on the real estate for a particular reason, but who knows?
