No foreign entity/individual should be able to own land in the United States.

Period.

The fact that it has happened shows how badly we have been asleep at the wheel for the last 10-20 years. This and our border truly make us look like we just didn't fricking care.

I think farmland should only be owned by US private citizens or US companies.

It’s pretty bizarre it’s legal for China or any other country to come in and buy our natural resources.

I’d fully expect them to do the same for us in their countries

It’s because we worried about other things, like teaching African refugees how to use Java script.

How about zero land of any kind? Even the Chinese in China can't own land much less Americans.

Man, that stroke made him one strange guy. One minute he's lucid, the next he's not.

you wanna know why the chinamen are buying farm land in merica n' such?

The price of farmland in the US varies widely, but on average, farm real estate (land and buildings) is valued at $4,170 per acre, according to the USDA's 2024 Land Values report. Cropland, specifically, averages $5,570 per acre, according to the same report. Pastureland is valued at an average of $1,830 per acre. These values have been on the rise, with a 5% increase from 2023.

remember farm aid and johnny cougar mellen camp that came about when farmland collapsed from $3000 an acre to $1500. farmers mortgaged the hilt out of their land at $3000 per and then banks foreclosed on them when it collapsed.

farm land is an asset and a store of value like any other asset, but farm land can be volatile as he11 and right now it's sky high, they need to be careful or they'll lose their arse like the japs did on new york real estate.

He's not as retarded and people like to act like he is. He's smart enough to read the results and demographics of his state and he knows if he wants to not get primaried and get reelected, he needs to move right on things that the Democrat base will not absolutely lose their shite over and pick up a few moderates.
