Lots of disingenuous behavior among the MAGA crowd.

It can both be true that Trump has done a great job on the border, there is some really good stuff in the BBB, Kennedy is doing great things in health, DEI is on the ropes and many other things are going great and as promised by Trump on the campaign trail…..

AND, it can also be true that Trump’s DOJ is no different than Biden (maybe worse) as it pertains to Epstein, Trump has done virtually nothing with DOGE, Trump is being led around by Israel, and some Trump appointments (especially Bondi, Kash and Dan) are massive disappointments.

Trump has also kept many Biden era fluff going, like energy rebates and broadband giveaways to ISPs.

The arguments around whether Kamala would have been better are logical fallacies. Of course she would not.

That’s an intellectually dishonesty position. The better question is why so many just blindly adopt the latest move of Trump, even if it’s antithetical to his promises on the trail and antithetical to what you allegedly espoused 6 months ago.

I voted for Trump and still support him, but he’s certainly not perfect and has missed big on some major items.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but bottom line is we can't have a half of Trump. You get all of him with the great and not so great. That said, I will continue to support him even with speed bumps along the way. He is on the right track.

It's the 80/20 rule, right? If he's great 80% of the time that's better than the alternative. I think if a person managing the number of processes and problems can resolve more than they create gets some grace and benefit for their decisions.

Additionally, after the last four years of mismanagement, a golf ball would be a better alternative.

Trump's given us enough instant gratification for us to allow him to play long ball. The left didn't destroy the cities under their watch overnight.

I am getting far more from this term than I expected him to do. DC is setup so crap doesn't get done. It's the system - I also want to let things play out before throwing him under the bus. he has a ton of time left and Rome wasn't built in a day.

correct. But some here truly believe you should be attacked if you only support or agree with 99.9%. We addressed this a long time ago. We called it the Trump Purity Test. If you don't support 100% of him.....you're the enemy.

That's why I've always said that both sides can technically have TDS.

Criticizing them for the 20% doesn't make them your enemy either.

Depends on the weight of that 20%.

Tell me what’s stopping the next president from impounding whatever ICE funds they want?

Sometimes the means are as important as the ends.

It could also be true that there isn't any actionable offense for anyone else. It could also be true that there isn't a black book or blackmail material. But you clowns won't hear it. You and your tinfoil have proof that multiple administrations haven't been able to find.

True.

In order for Trump to be "full Trump" he would need to become the dictator the left is accusing him of being.

By the very nature of the system, no president can deliver 100% of what he would like.

His positives far outweigh the negatives in my view.

Timing is an important element in politics, negotiations and gamesmanship. I understand I'm just spit balling here but what if some of the issues Trump has failed to address in the first six months he does address after the BBB or after the mid-term elections.

Here's a thought: What if blew the whole top off of Epstein during the final six months of his term? Resigns? The whole system implodes and JDV becomes president.

He does use chaos to his advantage.
