If you were leaving the beach tomorrow what would be a good time to head home?

It would be helpful to know what beach you are talking about and where you are headed.

it would help if you were to tell us what beach and where home is

Leave early man or you'll be in traffic like a motherfricker. Especially if you have to drive through Baldwin County and Mobile.
Be on the road no later than 730.

That's about right.
You'll have regular commuter traffic and post beach shitpile traffic combined.

We usually fly out on the chopper around 11 on Sunday.

The kiss of death is when the wife says ‘let’s take an early walk and let the kids have a swim before we leave’
I get em out when they’re still asleep. Promise the kids donuts, gold bars, whatever it takes.

Yesterday. Pack a tent just in case. You probably won’t get through the tunnel.

Be through the tunnel before 8am

Check the Algo cameras for the status of the tunnel and bay way.
The other choke points are Pascagoula bridge and Pearl River bridge. I have seen traffic back up for miles on the Pearl River bridge with no accidents.
If the Pearl River bridge backs up, your choices are either Texas Gulf Road to I-59 or take US 90/607 to get you closer to the cue for the Pearl River Bridge.
