This trailer, generated completely by AI technology, is pretty legit. Obviously you can see some flaws in it but the technology is only going to get better and more advanced:

When they figure out how to replicate physics of how things move, normally, with the pull of gravity and weight… watch out. But so far all the movement is too fluid. AI still has a glossy, ethereal feel to it and how everything flows across the screen.

Love the camera angles though.

It’s obviously AI because the two main characters are both white.

Its like they took the 'this is podracing" scene and then transitioned into bilbo finding the ring and then went to dune

It looks like a kid basically gave a story idea and told it to use Dune as a template.

Yeah, I think this is my criticism of AI. Basically, isn’t it always some version of something else? Not a complete replica, but even with this movie trailer for a movie that doesn’t exist, the symmetry to other works is really noticeable.

Nope just like the Waymo cars, won’t support anything that takes away jobs from people.

All art is now derivative for the most part. It is based on inspiration from previous artists. True innovation of art without having some influence from previous material is rare.

You still have to give AI the starting idea.

How noble.

Thankfully you will be only one of a few to stand in the way of progress, however. Key grips and best boys will soon need to learn how to code.

AI can never create anything original. Only take from what has been established already.

“Hollywood” is salivating over the potential of giving you this slop and making you pay for shite with zero art or human existence behind it so they never have to pay for another actor, writer or director again.

This and everything else AI created is absolute garbage and the latest snake oil being sold to you by the tech companies as the future of the world.

How are you both complaining about modern Hollywood doing this and championing this slop for doing what you say is the exact same thing?

Your goal is to keep the slop up but make it worse and easier for them to shite out? Make it make sense
