In a national survey, when asked to name the best cities in the US to spend a 'family weekend', not a single respondent answered, "Houston".

There’s a nice resort in the Woodlands with a nice kids pool, but you’re gonna be a long ways from anything “in Houston”.

Astros games are downtown. NASA is south of town.

You should tell the board where you want to do activities and then we could probably narrow down better a place for you to stay.

out here in Katy we have the Typhoon Texas water park next to the Katy Mills Mall with a nice Bass Pro Shop and other shopping.

There is the AGR Sports Adventure Park including paintball, laser tag, airsoft, and axe throwing, plus an on-site bar.

There is the Andretti Indoor Go-Karting & Games, the Homerun Dugout, Topgolf, Monster Mini Golf, plus of bunch of indoor play centers

Plus a couple of nice breweries which are kid friendly also if you wanted to grab some drinks

I remember when Astroworld was a thing. I remember riding the Texas Cyclone.

Well, I stand corrected. In the last 20 years, then.

The bad thing about the OT is that you get clowns thats can’t follow directions but love to smudge the thread with answers unrelated to the topic.

We’re going to Houston this weekend. It depends what you want to do…Zoo? Museum? Chinatown?

Another guy said Katy. That’s a good area too.

Put your hand back down and type out what kind of trip you're looking to have. Houston is a geographically massive city with a population of nearly 2.5 million people. We need a bit more direction.

Fredericksburg. It’s worth the extra drive hours.

What does this entail? If you want to shop and eat at nice restaurants, stay at the Post Oak Hotel or St. Regis. Tons of upscale shopping and dining in that area which is all Houston is good for anyways
