This might keep the Biloxi beaches empty until the train arrives around noon.

are you familiar with the geography along this route? Where else in LA would you have it stop between BSL and NOLA? Also, you are aware you need tracks and a station in order to have a train stop right?

Just checking

actually brilliant of you think about it.

Do you really want it to pick up passengers in NO East and Pearl River?

Had a frequent homeless person on my walk to work a long time ago and one day she slowed me down saying that her boyfriend had just hit her over the head with a brick and she was trying to get enough for a train ticket.

I decided that I never wanted to get on public transportation at that point in time.

Bonus story about the same individual:

I also saw her sitting at an intersection drinking out of a gas jug one time, and another time she was taking a shite between vehicles in our parking lot.

The Dirty Dell?

It's too bad the route doesn't continue to Baton Rouge. With a special stop near Tiger Stadium on game days.

With all of those stops, how long does the train ride take from New Orleans to Mobile?

3 hours and 40 minutes.

Most OT drivers can do it in 2 hours and 5 minutes with time to spare to stop at Buc-ee’s.

So an hour and an half time premium to take the train.

Most folks taking that train are more concerned about the gas money to get there.

$15 train ticket vs $50 for a tank of gas

Versus paying for parking in NOLA? Whens the last time you parked at a hotel in CBD or the quarter?

Also now you can have a cocktail and pregame on the train. Cant' exactly do that when you are behind the wheel waiting for an accident to clear on the Pearl River bridges.
