I was all for us getting a starting center if possible this offseason. But in no way would I ever want to be the guy that trades away Missi. He’s got all the potential in the world.

Best I can do is Karlo for a 1st

Missi has all the potential but at some point he is going to want the brighter lights and become a Laker. I’d wait until next season to trade but multiple 1sts and a decent starter at minimum.

Yeah 2 firsts alone doesn’t do it for me at all. That’s basically 1 pick if you count the player as 1.
You have a young, cheap starter who is only going to get better. It’s gonna take at least 2 first AND a very good player in return.

There is no realistic trade that is worth it for the pels. If we get a good player in return they'll probably have a big salary attached. If we get picks it's unlikely they'll have Yves' potential. Plus we'd be creating a hole. Pels need to leave the phone on DND.

Yep, trade is a non-starter, Lakers have no one on the roster and not enough picks to make this trade possible.

Lakers have nothing I would be interested in...or...at least nothing...that they would offer in a trade.
Golden State is the obvious team we could possibly trade with...since they are at the point where they are ready to unload Kuminga. The question is...do we want Kuminga and...what would we be willing to offer...in order to land Kuminga.
At the moment. Warriors need a big Center and a 2-way wing player that can mainly play great defense. I fully expect the Warriors to end up with Horford (not actually a BIG Center but he would do in a crunch)...at which point they would only need that wing player. Looking for opinions...what would we trade for Kuminga (You should know by now...who the Warriors really want...at least one of them...anyway)

They would love Herb or Trey.
Would you do Herb for Kuminga + salary + 2 firsts?
Trey for Kuminga + salary + 4 firsts?

I think we probably underrate Kuminga. Doubt Warriors would do either of those deals. BTW: I think we rate Trey over Herb...BUT...I'd bet the Warriors, at the moment..given their current roster...and Curry's age...would prefer to obtain Herb, rather than Trey

On another side note: I just noticed that the Nuggets have gotten MUCH better in the past few days.
NEVER been a fan of Valanciunas BUT...as a backup for the Joker...in very limited minutes...he should be quite useful for Denver. Plus, they finally got rid of Porter, Jr.

I don’t know. All the Warriors podcasters have said Trey is the dream scenario. They need shooters and scorers who can play at least serviceable defense. I don’t think they’d do it either because they’re very cautious about extending much past the next two years. They want to take a shot and then all their contracts come off the books in two years. So I doubt they’d pull the trigger to leverage the future, but I think they should for Trey.

Yeah 2 firsts alone doesn’t do it for me at all.
You guys are vastly overestimating Missi’s value.
