Military tank riding through San Diego

This man, Sean, was having a difficult time in life. He got kicked out of military for behavior. He was a tank driver. He started a plumbing business. That failed. His wife divorced him. His next girlfriend broke up with him. His plumbing van with tools inside were stolen. What does he do? Turns to meth and digging for gold in his backyard. Once he realized after a 20 foot hole that there was no gold in his backyard, he drives into a San Diego military base shirtless. Waves to security guards who wave back. Steals a tank, and has a tirade through San Diego. He runs over 40 cars and a fire extinguisher that cut off water to part of the city. It ultimately ends in his death.

Except for the death part, it sounds like a lot of fun.

But you’ll never be able to top that or do anything as cool ever again. You may as well go out in a blaze of glory.

Sounds like a cross between Dale Gribble and Bill Dautrive.

Totally awe-inspiring... the Human Tornado! And all this madness actually happened, proving that real life is stranger than fiction

It's impressive how clairvoyant the Falling Down writer was to see that far into the future for inspiration
