This stopped being a serious franchise 3 years ago.

Of course this fricking idiot thinks Pickett would be a good idea. Everyone already knows he sucks but if the Browns are willing to move on from him that means they have less confidence in him than they have in 80 yr old Joe Flacco, walking red flag Shedeur Sanders, or future UFL qb Dillon Gabriel. Pickett doesn't move the needle anymore than other current in-house projects he's just a different person.
But this is some fake bullshite anyway so it won't matter.

You basically have two QBs with little to no NFL experience. Bringing in a veteran, even if just to help watch tape and provide competition, is never a bad thing…depending on the price.

Or we could have a franchise QB for the next 10-12 years, while on a rookie contact for 4 of them. Not saying it is going to happen, but you can’t guarantee Ezeriku or Taylor pan out either. I know looking at positive possibilities is damn near impossible for most posters on this board, but it is a possibility.
