PROVO, Utah — A civil lawsuit that accused BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff of rape in 2023 is set to be dismissed following a joint motion by attorneys from both sides of the case.

quote:

The joint motion submitted to Judge Coral Sanchez asks that the lawsuit be dismissed with prejudice, which means it can never be filed against Retzlaff again

Crazy that she withdrew after he announced the transfer. Guess she really hates the school.

These things should lead to a criminal case. It's literally using the judicial system for extortion without consequences.

In the end BYU fans suffer because they lose their star QB for no reason at all

Even if it was consensual, wouldn't that still be an issue with BYU's ethics code or have they finally dropped that for athletes?

Yes, it's why he's transferring.

The irony of a school kicking you out for having sex, but it’s named after a guy that had 65 wives

I have seen a lot of “don’t go there if you don’t want follow the rules”

with BYU going hard in the NIL game for 5 stars there will
be some rude awakenings

It's okay to do jump humping. Some teammate jumps up and down on the bed while he was soaking.
