When you look back at your younger self do you feel like you knew nothing?

When I think about high school, getting married, having young kids, etc. I almost feel sorry for my past self. It’s like I had no idea and just got by on luck.

The weird thing is I never felt that at the time or feel like that now. It’s only in hindsight.

Is it just me or is that a normal thing?

No. I knew a lot. The problem was, most of it was wrong.

It’s always easier when you know the results.

On some things, sure. I do feel lucky looking back that I never got into any big trouble for the stupid things I did in my youth.

When I was young, I didn't know a lot... But I knew not to give $17k to random strangers who called my phone...

I've been keeping track and I'd say belief and support have... dwindled.

I just can't fathom someone doing that without consulting with their spouse
