I have never felt worse about this franchise and that’s saying a lot

This is what happens when you hire your pals and there’s no long term vision or short term accountability.

Cry me a river dude. We’re making much needed changes. You have no idea what that pick will look like next year yet. Can we play a few games first before you bury yourself in your sorrows?

Hate how we got here, but atleast we aren't running it back. Griff would have traded 23 for an old vet to mentor Zion

Fixing a broken arm by chopping it off is a change, but not a good one
We could defy all trends and actually be good - I wouldn’t bet on that - but that doesn’t change the fact that it was an awful, awful fricking trade.

So that means you're leaving the site and you'll never post here again? That's the beautiful thing. You don't have to be a fan. Bye Felicia

Nope, still a fan, still gonna post
In your mind it’s either unconditional positivity or leave? What an odd way to view the world

Once Rita understandably roughed up Gayle a bit in the Saints suite and Tom pivoted the ownership to Gayle we were doomed. A failed owner of interior decorating is no match for the business tycoon owners in the NFL and NBA.
It is what it is. Many here are satisfied just to have pro sports in NOLA and any win above 0 is gravy.

Not unconditional no. But not 100% negative. The trade happened. It's over. Nothing we can do about it other than hope for the best and be supportive.

Gayle is, by far, the best owner that the Pels have had since the move to Nola. But I love that someone thinks that we were a better organization back when the Walrus had to not only be the GM, but also do all of the coaching and scouting.

let me ask you, as a fan how bad are you expecting us to be? last, second to last record?
b/c it seems like y'all are just dead set on believing we traded away the #1 pick of the draft next year....

The low point for me was trading Tyson Chandler. That roster had championship potential.

We won 21 games this year
What possible reason could anyone have to think we won’t be in that bottom 4 range?
We just traded the adult in the room for Jordan Poole. Our best player is going on year 6 of “hopefully he gets in shape” and now he’s got serious legal trouble. Basically every piece of our lineup has had some sort of surgery in the last 12 months.
No one is saying the team can’t be good or that we’d definitely land a top 2 pick - that’s foolish, (I mean look what just happened with the ping pong balls.) But it’s just not a good bet. That pick was very valuable, and using it to move up 10 spots in this draft is batshit insane.

I think this is such a short sighted idiotic stance. When i saw it i couldn’t believe they traded an unprotected first rounder when were trying to rebuild. With that being said that pick has just as much potential being around 14 than it does 1-4. If that pick doesn’t fall in the top 8 or so and Queen turns into a really good player this trade is a really good one for the Pels. You’re just choosing to look at it with complete negativity. I don’t love what they did and it’s a big gamble but, they swung for the fences. And I’m at the point I’m tried of waiting around. Stop being such a pussy is my recommendation

Some on here actually said that they hoped that the Pelicans/Bucks pick ends up #1 overall just so that they can say I told you so. I honestly think a few “fans” on here will be actively cheering for us to have a horrible season so that they can, in their head, prove they were right.

Can way just let stuff play out first......always hated draft grades right after a draft happened...so useless

we had absolute atrocious injury problems... there is no reason to think that we can even come close to that same amount of bad luck with injuries again... hell, one of the biggest offenders is no longer with us, so right off the bat, that's an improvement by his subtraction...

realistically, they are the same player... one happens to still have time to get better, and one has seen his better days already... I like that we have the one that still has time to improve...

he looked pretty good in the latter part of the season, as far as his conditioning, and no, he has a CIVIL suit, not a criminal suit, that he's facing.. you reading way too much into some bullshite

I agree... but maybe, just maybe, so is Queen... let's see him and the team play before we bleed our vaginas all over the board...

I was pretty annoyed at the moves last night, but seeing everyone at the Ringer lose their mind over the trade has me more invested in the Pels this season than I was planning. I'm all in now! Flock up!

Strangely I’m excited to see the product on the court.
I think it’ll be entertaining as frick. Bad. But entertaining.

LOL, that's a short list. Yes, she is better than George Schinn who is perhaps in the 5 worst owners in the modern NBA.
