Would you go if the CWS was held at rotating sites?

Like say they picked yankee stadium or something for the location, would you attend something like that? After old rosenblatt was gone the charm was gone and I think it would be cool

No way on earth the MCWS is moving from Omaha anytime soon. The current stadium was built solely for the purpose of hosting this one event.

Imagine the homeruns hit with metal bats out of that band box. Talk about jumping the shark.
Omaha venue ensures more true fans attend the game, not corporate blah. Still has some of the college pageantry feel.
I wish they would think about incorporating that same mentality with college football playoff and championships. Not necessarily in Omaha though.

Lol. You think the Yankees would allow use of their stadium for 2 weeks for college teams to play on their field?
No. Omaha is the site of the College World Series. Those people treat every fan base great. They love LSU. Having the CWS at rotating sites would not be good bc the people there would not care about it.

The only thing that has benefitted from rotating sites is the NFL Draft. Omaha is college baseball and should stay that way.

College World Series should be rotation of cities all with retractable roof venues. Omaha is so 90’s and outdated.

It's not moving but yes, lsu fans would go wherever. Lsu fans will do whatever necessary to support the Tigers. Whether they say they will or won't.

If they kept Rosenblatt, things would change - they’d kick out the RVs then build a parking garage. The houses across the street would be razed to build a Fairfield and a Hilton Garden Inn. They would have replaced the primary color seats for green. Etc.

First of all there aren’t that many of these, Houston, DFW and I guess the one in Vegas will have it? Next since they are MLB stadiums and in use at this time of year.

Omaha is a great place for the CWS and most everyone is happy having it there forever. That said, it is more centrally located, making it more accessible for travel for most of the U.S. New York is not.

I would, but i think most like having it in Omaha. The reason that new stadium was built was for this event. The ncaa threatened to move it out of the city if they didnt build a new stadium
