Has LSU cemented themselves as the best spot for recruits to land?

High fan support, winning culture, sends players to the league every year, great NIL opportunities. Is there anything else I'm leaving off the list? Just feels like every highly touted baseball recruit should have LSU as their number 1 spot

The only thing holding us back are the whiney SOB's who constantly complain about everything here, but apparently, that's what this place is for!

Unless a recruit wants to stay close to home, I see no reason why a kid would not want to play at LSU. Top program, facilities, coach, fan base, history, national exposure.

The only kids we might miss on are the ones that want to stay home, the ones that want to chase the bag on a team that will over pay for them, and the ones who want a guaranteed starting spot every game instead of wanting to compete for one. I don't necessarily want the kids who want a guaranteed spot because they won't be willing to put in the work to actually take the spot from someone. The ones that are willing to come here and earn the job on the field will be the best of the best and know that if they can succeed here they will be successful at the next level.

As long as we are at the top with NIL money we are the place to be as far as everything else is concerned.
Excellent coaching and development for the next level. And the fans make it a fun place to play.

Assuming you mean baseball? If so, absolutely LSU is the premier landing spot in the country.
For other sports I think you have to look at them individually. Football is certainly in the mix of the best spots in the country, but maybe not the clear #1. The same could be said for Gymnastics.
Basketball, Softball, Track, and other smaller sporting teams I'd say fall into the more 'middle-of-the-road' programs. Not because of facilities or NIL, but because of their recent successes (or lack thereof).

I mean it just depends. It's not like we are the only school with good coaches, some money, fan support, and the ability to win. I think we are probably the best at putting all of those factors together on a consistent basis though.

It’s because we care.
And we care like nobody else in the country.

I think they all would probably want to, or at least most of them. But sometimes it just doesn't make sense though, depending on the player's and/or school's priorities.

Anyone watching our games in Omaha and seeing and hearing the sea of LSU fans, has to be amazing to recruits!

The brand has shown, "hey if your good come to LSU, we can flip this over in one year and win a title" right now. Pretty good recruiting kick.

Let's be honest, outside of campus and a few select places, BR is a shithole...only negative when joining the good guys!

I saw CJJ on Finebaum today. He said that a recruit called last week and said they were going elsewhere. Jay said if you are deciding to go elsewhere, you haven't been watching baseball.
I can't believe anyone would see what LSU has to offer, and want to go somewhere else.

Read this and tell me what you think. It’s starts 12 minute mark.
LSU is the face of college baseball

Not a baseball guy but an LSU guy. My son was a very good high school athlete in South Alabama and though him and his sister, also an athlete and cheerleader I got to know a lot of other kids and their parents.
So let me say that all the big baseball kids and families in South Alabama crave an LSU offer or even camp invite above all others, and many just flat out told me that and I know several that played in SEC. I would hear I wish he got an invite to LSU camp etc all the time.
LSU isn’t competing against other SEC schools as much as it’s completely against minor league baseball, at least around here.

The only thing I would hear is the desire for kid to be good enough to get an LSU offer. We have an incredible cy young winner a few blocks away that is a great guy and didn’t go to college and heavily involved in high school baseball etc. Jay should invite him to coach or something at LSUs summer camp. I am sure he would come
