Coastal was pretty disappointing.

They were comparable to a lower tier sec team, with maybe 1 additional good pitcher. They scored 3 runs in 2 games. No other team we faced all year scored that few in a 2 game stretch except for oklahoma. I think it's obvious that bracket 1 was full of mediocre teams.

They’re the UCF football of college baseball. Big arse mouths and attitude and nowhere near as good as they think they are. All of their highly touted players with their ridiculous stats against sunbelt teams looked mediocre

I mean, their pitching shut us down in 17 out of 18 innings. So I'd say their pitching was impressive. Their defense was not good, and of course their hitting with RISP was terrible.

We were the better team, but some of you are being silly with this. We had a win margin of 1.5 runs per game. I’m not sure why some of you are acting like we embarrassed them.

LSU was the better team, but it's not like the Tigers stomped a mudhole in their asses like we did WV.
We won by 1 run one day, and two the next with the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the 9th.
They went undefeated in Regional, Super Regional and CWS play until they got to LSU in the championship series.
Don't act like they weren't a good team, because they were. They just weren't good enough to beat LSU, the best team in college baseball.

Nobody hit our starters.
Once the pen got better, not perfect, it was tough to score runs on LSU especially with that infield that did not make mistakes.
CC is a good team got hot at the right time and caught a break on their bracket.

This is just arrogant. Flukey pitched out of his mind. Morrison had a rough start. There defense made some mental errors, and LSU was just the better team.

I was expecting more from Morrison the way they talked him up. Flukey was just as good if not better. If they left Morrison in we would have probably scored 8-10 runs. We hit him pretty hard.

Looked comparable to our pitching, frankly.
(ETA: Flukey pitched a great, great game. Good enough to win but for Anderson and the defensive plays in the infield.)

I was thinking this morning how much CC reminded me of UCF football. I wouldn’t be surprised if they went home and had a national championship trophy made for themselves and had a big parade.

They went to Auburn (who swept us) and swept them. I don't really know what LSU fans would have to gain from saying CC isn't very good after we beat them by 1 and 2 runs. Sort of diminishes the accomplishment.

LOL. Those were two hard fought games. We made fewer mistakes but still made some. A couple big ones on the base paths.
