How trashy is it to have multiple baby showers?
You just had 50 people give you everything you could ask for 1.5 years ago when you had your first kid.

I would rather throw a few pennies to help a baby out, much rather do that than give a dime to these hoe women getting maried over and over wanting bridal showers for all of them!

1.5 years ago? Tacky. Just like multiple wedding showers. A “sprinkle” with close friends and immediate family for opposite gender items and necessities such as diapers, not so tacky if someone offers to host it.

You don't have to attend if you think it is trashy. I tend to avoid events like that but will send a gift if I care about the recipient.

The second baby shower is known as a “Sprinkle” for diapers, Boudreaux’s butt paste, clothes and stuff. Not as big as the first one.

small sprinkle is fine, but a full on baby shower is tacky.

Is there a big enough gap from a previous baby when a second shower is okay? 10 year gap? 15? 20?
I know some that thought they were done and had long moved out all the baby things from a decade ago.

You get one baby shower with presents. You can have events for all the other ones, but no presents. It’s trashy if you do.

When I was pregnant with my son, one of the pilots I worked with- who is a huge MS State fan, printed out an application to MS state and put it in the gift basket his wife gave me. It was a hilarious gag gift.

I dont have any kids yet but my close friends all have a few. We've had a get together to celebrate for all their kids and get basic stuff like diapers and baby clothes for them. I agree inviting people you barely know just to farm gifts but having a kid (with your wife/husband, no baby momma/daddy drama) is an awesome thing. It should be celebrated when the right people are having children.
