Focus mainly on lousiana kids at QB in HS recruiting goin forward

These out of state kids repeatedly leave us at the alter I’m bout tired of it lol. Underwood, Julian sayin, Bentley. Out of state kids at qb will always have LSU in their top 5 but never come here. Thankfully the 27 class is fricking loaded at QB in LA identity which stud you want and get them to stay home we need a qb that truly bleed purple and gold. It was clear Bo Bentley, who grew up an Oklahoma fan, bleed boomer sooner not purple and gold.

It’s going to take more than just one directive of “hey, only take La kids”.
It’s going to take guys that want to leave their state. It’s going to take guys that want money inside de and outside of La.

QB is a position that you should never settle on nowadays. You go after the best of the best and if you miss you go with an experienced portal option and try again next year.

Then stop being a pussy.
You recruit the best, high school or portal. You're going to miss way more often than you'll hit, and even when you do hit and get a great recruit or transfer, it's still more likely than not that player won't be anything special.

Time to pivot, but stay on Bentley. If Venables goes 5-7 or worse he’ll be canned opening up the process.

Jamarcus Russell
Jarrett Lee
Rohan Davey
Matt Mauck
Matt Flynn
Jarrett Lee
Zach Mettenberger
Danny Etling
Max Johnson
Joe Burrow
Myles Brennan
Jayden Daniels
Nuss
Even though a few didn’t work out, they beat out many others for the job.
On the other hand, our QB’s from La. Included:

by your logic we would never have had 2019 season.
At the very least LSU will drive up the NIL price for others.
By not going after underwood LSU got to sign a great transfer class. Michigan transfer class is not so great mainly their NIL was depleted.
If LSU had gone for Underwood; this year's talent across other positions would not have been so full.
May be if Nus had bolted for NFL; LSU might have gone after Underwood. But seems like we are doing okay here.
