Them hogs have got their broadcast on LOCKDOWN!

It is their Epstein List!

I just joined (and canceled) their Hogs+ free trial. It ain't there!

Arkansas' collapse was much more than one or two plays. After our pinch hinter struck out (& their W seemed inevitable), they messed up with each subsequent batter:

Their 1B misfielded Curiel's hit, turning an out into a double.
Then they walked Frey.
Then they failed to turn the double play.
Hernandez's missed fly.
They pitched to Jones in the first place.
And didn't snag his line drive.

That's five players and the coach, f-ing up.

It's an object lesson in stress leading to bad decisions. Before any of these errors, I could see them getting scared.

And, yes, as others have noticed, we are the power in college baseball that Alabama was in football under Saban.

Now let's get that broadcast. Wake your hillbilly cousins!

When Aloy’s play happened, you could sense the nerves of Arkansas thru the TV.

Did Arky legit delete their broadcast recording. I have yet to hear it. If they did, that is some sore loser shite.

Arky 9th lowlights

Someone posted a link to this show yesterday, and they have a montage on the bottom of the 9th. Tough night for hog fan.

That's on the level of the 2011 World Series or the 1992 NLCS.

Damn.

I’ll say one thing though- he handed the call like a pro. You know he was hurting too, but he nailed all of the details and kept on going. Respect.

I would rather revel in our succes than their failure, whoever posted the "in the booth" of Doug and Blair with the bottom of the 9th, that was awesome. I could not stop smiling. I honestly get more joy from baseball than LSU football. Since 1987 or so.

Credit to Arky announcer. He sounds like a real pro.

I imagine some their fans are pissed he didn't sound more emotionally devastated, though.

On another thread someone pointed out that the 3rd baseman actually had time to go to 1st and complete the double play on Milam, so maybe he can also be considered a small part of the overall f-up.

That was a great call for a guy whose heart had to be ripped out. Real pro level.

Can he become LSU's radio guy?

That’s long in the rearview mirror. Forgot about that game and them yesterday. Who gives a shite.

When your arse picks up a glove or hits a ball you can use “we”. I’m not and have never played for LSU but have a degree from there and don’t use “we”.

Forever LSU. That's the saying. We are forever LSU. We are the LSU community. LSU baseball wouldn't be LSU baseball without the fans.

Bama turned off their scoreboard before the end of the game in 2019 so we couldn’t take pictures.

Well, I disagree. These athletes will always say “our fans are the best or greatest” or “they provide us energy” or “they are why we play like we do” or “we do this for them and without them we wouldn’t be who we are”.
I’ve donated to help pay for some of this and would never act as if I’m an owner or investor of the program because I’m not. Jay Johnson and these kids do not and never will work for me. Hence “donate”.
Notice the we and they? “We” is reserved for those that play the game or coach or part of this staff directly. “They” is us fans.

So when “we” fans express our opinion about the team or a player, “we” are doing it from a fan’s perspective. Maybe some on here have played at a high level and understand what I mean by this. You don’t hear team members talking negatively to others about their teammates like some fans do. Why? There’s no place in the locker room for that and that would be putting themselves above the team.

I see all of you talking crap about Chris Guillot and K Lady. You all state how they feel like they are part of the game and take away from the game with a “look at me” attitude. What I hear is a man that has been to far more LSU baseball games probably more than all of you on here who is dedicated to getting the “fans” to give inspiration to the team. You make comments like he is not part of the “true fan base” because it is about him. When he is gone who is going to do what he does at all of those events? I will miss hearing his booming “GEAAAAUUUUXXX” followed by Tigers from the rest of us. “We” fans are a separate team that supports the program but not part of “their (LSU baseball coaches and players)” team.

No one is reading your rambling nonsense. Nobody set you up to dictate how people refer to LSU’s teams.

Yet you did and took a lesson on the bull crap that some of you think you’re part of the LSU baseball team.

You proved that it wasn’t rambling but applied logic to why YOU should never refer to LSU teams as “we”. You’re not part of this at all. Just shut up and enjoy watching ”them” play.
