He's right. I have a package that the USPS has that won't get here till tomorrow now because there are no deliveries today.

Voted for him 3 times etc.. but he's wrong here. People need days off and we need them and more. Should have a week off for Christmas. Just actually do some work when you are there.

So the usps should be off the week of Christmas?
Banks should be closed for the week?
That seems like it would cause some problems.
I’m not disagreeing with more time off. I wish I was off today. But the week for Christmas can just be when you take personal time.

Agree with you. I don't have a problem with more intermittent holidays but having a week long federal and banking holiday could cause some problems.

Ultimately, count me in on the idea that a couple fewer work days would really go a long way with quality of life

Yes, Trump is dumb here. He needs to be more pro worker and less corporate whore,
Dont forget all these companies aren't loyal to America at all. They will gladly sell us down the river. More holidays for working people not less. Life is short so go enjoy it.

Most places open to the public don't close on banking/federal holidays

We should have time where most people are off in the country. If certain industries are essential then you make exceptions for that. Most people take the week off anyway... should be time for family, country unity. Work smarter and harder the time you are at work. Too much time is wasted to fulfill some perception about working hard when people are sitting around doing nothing.
