I think the Pirates are about to be something like 5-10 in games Skenes starts.

Dude has given only up 21 earned runs in 16 starts and is 4-6 for the season.
If he’s pitching for a team like the Cubs who can score runs, he would have 13-14 wins.

Everyone in the MLB knows about Skenes and his abilities. It sucks that he's stuck with a perpetual cellar dweller, but that isn't going to last forever. I wouldn't be surprised to see a high value major market franchise offer a trade deal to the Pirates that they couldn't refuse.

As a Pirates fan, I would much rather see Skenes and the rest of the players get together and work out a deal to trade owners with some other franchise. THAT would be awesome!
