He literally looked like it was his team that lost. Lol He was most definitely disappointed for them and himself, BUT at the end he did give LSU some respect. He said LSU and its fans are built different. That’s more than I can say for other ESPN commentators like Rece Davis when talking LSU Football. I don’t think he ever heard that Gump give LSU credit on anything. He was totally against the consideration of a two loss LSU making the playoffs in 2022 all because he was mad LSU beat Bama that season and kept them out the playoffs. Lol

Rece Davis is a Bama Homo. I wish the SEC had cut a deal with another network other than ESPN.

He also said something to the effect of “That was LSU being LSU.”
That was absolutely catastrophic for Arkansas. They have at least three players who will replay that 9th inning in their minds for the rest of their lives.

Several on this board were pissed b/c ESPN didn't let Big Ben annouce our games. Some were crying for Rollins.

I thought his talk with SVP was great though. He said as a commentator, you dont care who wins, you just want a competitive game and something that you can dissect.
He also said there are some games you will never forget and this was one of them.

There was nothing mild about the ninth inning last night. Ben McDonald is way more entertaining with his analysis than KP is. That last inning was better than the ending of the Bad News Bears movie.

KP IS College baseball . Some of yall are insufferable. He constantly raves about LSU and its legacy and fan support. Ben McD & Todd Walker to their credit are closing the gap. Arkansas fans on “Hogville Forums” LOVED when Big Ben called their games . They are superstitious like all of us . They won every game in Omaha that Ben called (including the no hitter).

Omg I gave the dude props for giving LSU credit! I was just pointing out that he looked disappointed LSU won and he did! I didn’t bash the guy! We can criticize commentators just as much as they criticize our team. There’s no crime in that so sone of YOU sensitive folks are in insufferable ones.
