Baton Rouge - Dallisgrass has overtaken backyard. Plan of action?

Had some life events happen this year and haven’t been able to manage the lawn like usual, and now dallis grass has basically grown all across my backyard. It’s grown seed heads and I’m sure it’ll spread everywhere next time I mow, making the problem worse…
Lawn was bermudagrass beforehand. I’ve read that it’s pretty dang resilient against glyphosate.
The tentative plan is to lay down some preemergent to stop any more dallisgrass from growing, and then spray the shite out of my lawn with roundup, then mow a few days later. From what I’ve read, the bermudagrass should bounce back in time.
Is this a terrible idea? Am I setting myself up for failure?

If it’s in manageable patches, wait until it rains and get a shovel and dig them up. Replace with sand or mulch

Bermuda is somewhat resistant to glyphosate. However, this approach is typically done when it is dormant. You greatly risk frying your entire yard. Two options, just cut regularly and attack the Dallisgrass this winter or put down some MSMA on your “golf course”.
I do not consider digging it up an option if it’s as bad as you say.

It’s really not manageable at this point. Backyard is about 2k sqft and over half has been covered by the dallisgrass

This is what AI told me:
Suppression vs. Control:
Celsius WG can suppress or control dallisgrass, but it's not always a complete eradication, particularly on its own.
Tank Mixes:
For more effective dallisgrass control, Celsius WG is often recommended to be tank-mixed with other herbicides.
Recommended Combinations:
Revolver: A common recommendation is to combine Celsius WG with Revolver for enhanced dallisgrass suppression.
Certainty: Some sources also suggest using Celsius WG with Certainty for a broader spectrum of control, including dallisgrass.

I think this is where Bermuda shines. Use MSMA.

Glyphosate will kill bermuda. If you have common bermuda dig up the dallisgrass or spray with glyphosate and overseed. If it is hybrid then do the same thing but buy sod to drop in.

Lucky for me I just came into possession of a golf course. However, it’s a pretty small one and I don’t need the giant containers online that are $100+. Is there anywhere in the Baton Rouge area that I can get one smaller? Or is this something I just need to order online?

MSMA is available to professionals only. Keep spot spraying glyphosate and maybe you can eventually rid a few. It’s tough.
I don’t think I want to fool with anything with arsenic in it. But what do I know?

Easy peasy chicken squeezy. Apply a "hot shot" of MSMA via hose end sprayer. It will kill the Dallisgrass and burn the Bermuda, but the Bermuda will be back green in a week or two. If you can catch a rain two weeks after the MSMA application, put out a bag of 13-13-13 right before the rain. Do this three times a year.
MSMA can be applied to golf courses and right of ways, I use my back yard to practice putts.

It only comes in 2 1/2 gallon jugs.

Split it with a couple other golf course owners.

well i got to say I tried glyphosate 1 yr in back yard while dormant those spots stayed brown for 6 months, I don't use it on my yard, just my experience

Msma + tenacity will work. You have to paint it on the leaf tissue

I've been fighting same problem in my "backyard golf course" for years and have almost won the battle. As others have indicated MSMA is your friend with dallisgrass. With the Bermuda mow it low and often. Don't forget to fertilize regularly.
