97°-102° with 30mph wind blowing straight into the stadium. It’s gonna be like being inside a damn air fryer. Hopefully we have to deal with those conditions! Stay hydrated!

Omaha heat is not the same as South Louisiana heat.
I spent a summer up there a while back.
When I stepped off the plane after flying back into New Orleans I felt like the sun was right on top of my head

Playing Sunday at 1:30pm is absurd

The Sunday game in 23 was brutal in CF. Thankfully the game was over in the 5th inning and we could go to the bar.

There is a 3 week range in that part of the country where it can be humid and hot

We were on the berm for waiting for GA in 2009 from the am until game time. It was over 100F and several LA folks had to be treated by EMT’s.

Firefighters handed out waters. It was flappin hot!

Usually you are right. Not this weekend though. Heat index values as high as 110°

I would hope they would move the games to night games. Its been weirdly hot every where. 30 mph blowing in is pretty crazy though. Pitchers get the complete advantage on that.

Was there last weekend. Went and played golf on Thursday and everybody in the pro shop was bitching about the heat.

I told them it felt like April in LA up here.

Today for the first time this wind will be plowing out NW 8mph and it’s supposed to switch to the SE blowing in by the end of the game tonight.

Luckily I had assigned seats in 2009 but I did take this photo of the GA line 3 hours before gametime. It was a HOT one that day!

My SIL pitched for LSU in 2009 against Texas in Omaha. He said it was the hottest he’s ever been on the mound.

Look at the hourly. Daytime highs usually turn around in the evenings to a nice evening.
