Israel Hayom has learned that a significant Middle Eastern country other than Israel has approached Trump and asked him to join the war. That country, which sees Iran as a bitter rival, believes that American involvement could bring about a quicker end to the military conflict. It also fears that Israel will attack Iran's oil facilities, which would shake the global economy. For these reasons, that country wants a quick and strong end to the fighting with American assistance, in a way that will also prevent Iran from threatening its neighbors in the future.

Nearly 20 Saudis killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11. Nothing happens to Saudi Arabia. In fact, we're still buddies. And yet we want to invade Iran because the Israelis and the Sunni fundamentalists ask us to? Our government is irredeemable. Pure evil.

Not saying we should do it, but removing Iran from the equation is an instant upgrade to stability in the Middle East. Hezbollah has been effectively neutered in Syria/Lebanon, Hamas will suffer greatly if they're gone, etc. There's a lot of upside there.

Some of you are ignorant of the middle eastern culture.

It's nothing like the west. They have no allegiance to each other just because they were born in the same region. It's a fundamental religious ideology they have allegiance to. Osama Bin Laden didn't even have allegiance to some of his own blood family members because they did not think like him.

Downside is you could destabilize a nation of 85 -90 million people. Are you ready to own the unintended circumstances that you help to unleash?

Oh it's going to be destabilized. There isn't any "could" about it IMO

Republicans in 2003:
