PSA: The 11:00 latest time being floated is a common misconception

According to Cauble, that's the latest time a game can START.

I’m sure they’d apply the same logic to this.
I think they end up starting both bracket finals on Thursday and eliminate the built in off day on Friday, if necessary.
The other bracket already has a 1 day advantage. They won’t let that turn to 3 days if coastal were to get through on Wed and our bracket winner on Friday.

Finish it tonight, even if it wraps at 2am that’s better than resuming at 10am tomorrow.
If it starts back in the morning, the loser is massively fricked against Arkansas given how much of the game is left to be played.
And the winner loses any advantage of being 2-0 and having a rest day.

They wouldn't keep the teams there this long if they didn't intend to restart tonight. If we are picking this up tomorrow we'd have known by now so the players could get back at a reasonable hour.

Bumping the schedules back a day only rewards Arkansas for losing a game.

According to Mascona, he said a NCAA official confirmed a decision has to be made by 11. Didn’t say start time had to be 11.

Hate to be that guy but LSU just lost #8 because of a thunderstorm. We just don’t have the pitching depth to comeback from the losers bracket and no matter if we win or not we’re in the same spot.
Before you noobs down vote let’s say we win. Arky beat UCLA. Thursday we either pitch Anderson on short rest or go all bullpen against a fresh pissed off Root. We save Anderson game two which would be the smart move and we win. That leaves Anderson out for the finals I.e skeenes 2023. We just don’t have the pitching staff. Period. This killed us. Worse than a loss.

You know I once watched an overweight baw with a 90 mph fastball throw like 6 innings vs a top 5 team in Omaha in an elimination game 2 years ago for LSU?
