Rain is moving out. The problem will be all the lightning in the trailing stratiform region. You can see all that lightning NW of Omaha even though the strongest thunderstorms are to the south.

When thunderstorm complexes rain out and weaken you get a lot of lightning in the stratiform region behind the storms, that area of light showers.

Correct, the stratiform is accelerated by electromagnetic particulates that create a charge between the ionic and covalent isolation, this in turn magnifies the chance for lightning.

It’s basically what has happened to Ethan Frey over the last month.

The flux capacitor ratio is showing only 10% chance of lightning after 10:00. However, that’s using a threshold voltage of 1.21 jiggawatts.

You can see all the lightning to the NW of Omaha within the light showers trailing the main line.
