Apparently it will be a rightly for UCLA on Monday. Do we see Reaves or Braswell at 3B? It’s obvious that Jay will go with Brown over Pearson, but do we see Reaves over Braswell?

Also, Jay has been known to mix things up in Omaha, with Fry struggling at the plate, could we see Larson at DH against the righty? I don’t believe it will happen but who knows?

The way Braswell played defense tonight (and all season) he will continue to play Braswell and if need be pinch hit Reaves later in the game.

Frey is too good, he will get going I don’t see Jay changing anything from there.

Against a small ball team.... playing Tanner would be a borderline fireable offense.

Frey is one of the hottest hitters in America this postseason. No, he’s not getting benched.

I’m not sure when, as I’m not a coach, but I do hold some hope Larson will see some time in Omaha.

I’ve always wished Larson could play a mean 3rd base. Braswell is awesome there. I just hate that he has digressed so much at the plate. He could actually hit a little bit last season.

Braswell hit .311 last year. That’s crazy to me. I’d be happy if he could hit .270 with his defense.

with fry struggling at the plate? he goes one game against big league arms, in which he doesn't hit 3 balls over 110 mph off the bat, and all of a sudden he's struggling? he's our best hitter.. thank God jay johnson is the head coach and not you lmfao

Just gotta learn to sift through the horrible takes on here. I’m still waiting to see Curiel struggling against lefties recently that continues to be beaten down on this board lol

Frey is the guy I’m most confident in out of all the bats.

I think Reeves starts against a righty and he goes Braswell late if we have the lead.

Idk if this is true anymore. Jay has been saying that Reaves has gotten much better defensively in practice. And his brief performances in game have reflected that

Braswell is literally useless at the plate right now. He is currently hitting under .200. He is a decent glove but he isn't all world or he would still be playing ss.

Braswell for 2 reasons. His defense and the wind will be blowing in, which would neutralize tanners power. Now if we are down late, i expect tanner to pinch hit

Start Braswell, second time through order, if comes up in key time pinch hit whoever and then have reeves finish the game

Ashton Larson should lead off the first inning and be penciled in as the starting third baseman.

When we head to the field he gets replaced by Michael braswell. It works as kind of a preemptive pinch hit, and reaves is still available to sub in later if needed. (This all assumes we're away as LSU sports.net shows).
