I have seen so many Christian Zionists on X telling me and others that we need to support Israel because that means we are supporting God and His people. The Bible says Israel will ALWAYS be there and therefore we need to stand behind our Hebrew allies.
Here's the thing...God passed judgment on Israel in the year AD 70 when He allowed the Romans to wipe the Jewish nation from the face of the earth. There was no Israel for almost 1,900 years until it resurfaced again after the Second World War.

I’ve had my wife attempt to explain this to me many times to no avail.
As a Catholic and a Christian, why would I be so beholden to a people I don’t even attend the same services with on Sundays?
The Catholic faith hinges on Jesus Christ, who the Jews don’t recognize as the messiah. I’d be expelled from my church for such views, yet many feel we should risk entering WW3 for the Jews.

Jesus's murder was a collaborative effort by all of HUMANITY. Yes the Jews, specifically the Pharisees played a big part as did the Gentiles, Besides It was God that rose him again as was planned all along.

Your post is true. At least you made a case and posted some facts. But here is some points to ponder. When God makes a promise he keeps it. Remember the promises he made to David. Ever thought one of the "purposes" of of WW2 may have been to reconstitute Israel. Have to admit their independence was pretty wild story.
Then how the hell did they pull off that huge decisive victory in 6 days in 1967. They have been surrounded by enemies determined to destroy them for 80 years. Yet they persist and thrive, against all odds, relative to their neighbors.

I support Israel because the alternative are terrorists. I also support their ability to defend themselves against unjust aggressors.
Sure their land is historic but that doesn’t sway my position. Israel is an ally and should be supported.
