I think Israel would need the MOP to reach the deepest subterranean nuclear facility in Iran. Those are only deployable via the B2 bomber and Israel doesn't have one of those apparently.
Jennifer usually gets good scoops from someone in this administration and this one, in particular, reads like the exec summary of an intelligence report.

I think Jennifer Griffin had an orgasam Live on Fox early talking about military capabilities of both sides.

Whats so hard to build about this? It’s a giant dumb bomb

Israel wouldn't have MOAB'S without a way to deploy them.

The MOP is the next gen MOAB and it was built to specification for compromising these very Iranian nuclear facilities. It's a whole "build a better mousetrap, build a better mouse" quip. Iran built something that could take a MOAB, so we built the MOP.
Israel does not have the MOP.

Please explain how a Moab would hurt a hardened underground facility... I'll wait

You can shove a MOAB out the back of a C-130 lol

Bunker busters are used for stuff that deep.

I wouldn’t call myself an expert on this shite, but if I had to guess you could drop a MOAB to clear a bunch of crap out of the way before dropping penetrating “bunker busters” if the facility was really hardened and deep.

Clear what? What could a blevie bomb possibly clear that something that's designed to go through 30 feet of rock couldn't already defeat?

According to several news sources, Israel has been planning this attack for at least a year, so safe to assume every target attack was carefully planned out. FOX showed a hard - to - see - clearly video of Mossad agents that had penetrated Iran, so it has some boots on the ground carrying out various forms of attacks.

I dunno, buildings? I’m just saying if Israel was using MOABs on a hardened nuclear facility that’s the only reasonable way I could see them being used.

Moabs. would have minimal effect on a hardened target.
It's a blevie bomb. Not a penatrator.
Unlike a nuke the Shockwave won't get the job done.
Complete waste of a munition in every sense.

I’m aware of what it is. I was just responding to the guy who said they were being used against nuke facilities. From what I know it wouldn’t make much sense to me either but the Israelis tend to get pretty creative with their shite

The US has B2s and B52s on Diego Garcia, they were moved there in May
Edit: The B2s left but the B52s are still there

It has been a nice steady flow of B52s out of Barksdale today over my house. It is usually Reserves practicing touch/go landings but last night was different. Any posters stationed at BAFB?
