What’s everyone getting the dad in their life? My dad has literally everything and he’s impossible to get for sometimes. I need some ideas lol.

Sadly, my dad passed many years ago. But hopefully, I’ll be able to add some new cigars to my humidor…

I bought my dad some dry aged prime angus steaks for his birthday/father’s day last week.
I know he is too tight to buy it for himself and I got fussed for spending too much money on him.
He will be 80 next year and if he’s still here I’m gonna buy him a Wagyu tomahawk and threaten to keep increasing the price point if he keeps hanging around!!!

A large gift pack of jerkies and meat sticks... an interesting book that's fun to read in small bites, like over coffee or in the loo.
Got both for my husband for father's day.. we did it a week early. Anyway, he's been enjoying the gift pack of edibles, hasn't picked up the book yet.
Men like stuff they can eat, smoke or drink. In my experience, anyway.

We try to bring him fishing and have a fish fry after with the family. Hopefully we are able to pull it off this year.

My father's day gift to me is taking my boys to Omaha for the first time I'm more excited than any other trip I have made there.
Tried to convince my dad to go but Dementia has the better of him and he just can't make the trip so we did a nice dinner last night and I told him how much he means to me.
Gonna be a great weekend!

Something from his childhood. My dad always talked about a brass Benjamin BB gun he had as a kid and how he always regretted selling it to a neighbor kid.
Sadly, he passed before I could buy him one.

I have a Benjamin pellet gun that looks exactly like that, just not as clean. It was my dad’s from when he was young, and it still shoots flawlessly. My son loves it. I believe it was made in the early 60s.

I have one of those that is identical to that. I bought it for $1 at a garage sale (non working). I resealed it and completely restored it, stripped what was left of the blueing off, polished the brass barrel, and refinished the stock. Shoots like a dream now. Was a fun project.

I have one of those as well.

My son has a turtle box and I’ve actually considered buying one. They’re pretty great.
