Grass clippings do not belong in the road!

Today I was down Tiger Bend, I hit a lazy curve doing about 45 when my front tire slid on a thick patch of fresh grass clippings some careless homeowner had blown straight into the street.
My hog fishtailed hard, rear end stepping out like it was trying to runaway from me, and for a second, I thought I was going down.
I was already shifting my weight, ready to lay her down to avoid a high side, eyeing the ditch. Luckily, I steadied her, caught traction, and rolled out.

bikes or not, homeowners (and especially professionals) should never be leaving grass clippings in the road

Where else they gonna go after mowing and edging?

They did not. That's exactly where clippings end up after mowing and edging. Even if they did... why you riding your bike so close to the right side of the road?

I like it when you talk dirty to me. Does it have to be a fatty, though?

But where else do they go? It is a natural byproduct of lawn maintenance.

It’s illegal to blow them in the road.

When it’s 500 degrees outside and I’m on the verge of heat death, IDGAF where my clippings go.

Most of them ARE in the yard... only the portion you mow near the road end up IN the road, and they blow away soon enough anyway between wind and air displacement of passing vehicles.

Drive your hawg in the center of the lane you're occupying and it shouldn't be a big deal.

You're just hog-bragging. Not even subtly.
