No one is discussing it because its a given. Anderson is going. He had a lot of success against Arkansas the first time plus hes on more days rest.

No way I'm going anyone but Anderson, but are we sure?

I think so. What would be your thoughts for starting Eyanson?

Do you ever stop with the stupidity?

If he was looking at match ups Eyanson last time they played pitched better than Anderson against them.
He'll probably go Anderson for obvious reasons but it honestly wouldn't be too shocking if he slid Eyanson up to pitch against them if he felt like it was a bigger advantage.
The luxury of having 2 aces on staff.

Eyanson is coming off a shaky outing against WV because he closed against Little Rock. He needs as much rest as he can get. No way we pitch him on 6 days rest

Skenes threw 120+ pitches in CWS game 1 in 2023 and on 4 days rest again against WF. Eyanson isn’t pitching against Arkansas but it’s not because 6 days rest isn’t enough for a 20 year old

I understand there are circumstances where you HAVE to have it when facing elimination. This isn’t one of those circumstances

I would say Anderson is a lock but I also thought Anderson was a lock to start game 1 of the regional so what do I know

Six days rest is the normal Saturday to Saturday starts he has been doing all season. He pitched Sunday. If he pitches Saturday that’s five days rest.

You’re intolerable. I feel sorry for your husband.

I think it will be Anderson, but here are the reasons why someone might consider Eyanson…
-Arkansas hits lefties better than righties
-Jay has mentioned (going into regionals) Eyanson is more capable of coming back on short rest in relief… which could come into play next Wednesday/Thursday to get into the finals
-maybe Anderson needs an extra day or two IF there’s any lingering soreness from getting hit against West Virginia
-while both pitched well in their first matchup with Arkansas, Eyanson was a tad better
-matchups against UCLA/Murray… haven’t looked at their LvR stats but I’m sure Jay is definitely looking at that in regards to pitching matchups for our second game
Not saying I think it will be Eyanson… whatever Jay decides is good with me. Just pointing out the reasons we could possibly consider Anthony. It’s a nice luxury to have co-aces.
