I guess she didn’t receive the attention she wanted.

US Weekly

quote:

I’ve always believed competitive equity & inclusivity are both essential in sport,” Biles, 28, wrote via X on Tuesday, June 10. “The current system doesn’t adequately balance these important principles, which often leads to frustration and heated exchanges, and it didn’t help for me to get personal with Riley, which I apologize for.” 00:59

quote:

Biles continued, “These are sensitive, complicated issues that I truly don’t have the answers or solutions to, but I believe it starts with empathy and respect.” The 11-time Olympic medalist clarified she was “not advocating for policies that compromise fairness in women’s sports.”

quote:

My objection is to be singling out children for public scrutiny in ways that feel personal and harmful,” Biles said. “Individual athletes — especially kids — should never be the focus of criticism of a flawed system they have no control over. I believe sports organizations have a responsibility to come up with rules supporting inclusion while maintaining fair competition. We all want a future for sport that is fair, inclusive, and Respectful

Sports are the exact opposite of equity and inclusivity

There aren't disabled people playing in the NFL for a reason

Strange how she also has a netflix special coming out, and she needed to spark some attention since she is no longer competing.

She made a post or tweet sometimes around 2019 saying she was glad she didn’t have to complete against men. All of them become heroes after they no longer have any cost to them.

LMAO..

No. No they are not.

Men/boys should not be competing against women/girls in collegiate, ametuer or professional sports.

It's the total opposite of complicated. It's common sense.

wonder how many revisions her million-dollar PR firm went through before settling on that.

eta she didn't pen a single word of this.

In her earlier tweet she called for tranny divisions in all levels of athetlic competition

Do these people even think before they open their mouths? Rhetorical question

No they aren’t. If you have or had a dick, keep your arse out of women’s sports, women’s locker rooms and out of the women’s restroom. It’s that simple.

100% she fired off the first tweet

100% some PR firm Goldberg & Schmetz spent a week crafting and tweaking that follow up.

Very VERY disappointed in Biles for this display...to the point that I had to wonder if she was under the influence or otherwise incapacitated. It was less the direct trans talk and more the 2nd tweet where she body shamed Gaines (by comparing her to a man). I mean, no matter the politics, that truly seems out of left field. WTF

Well they lied. Gaines’ beef wasn’t with children, but men competing with women in sports

I was wondering if Riley would quip about Biles mental failings, but she took the high road.

It starts with fairness, safety, and common sense.
