MLB, NCAA, highest levels of high school baseball…. We are in the 4th inning and the Tigers are up 10-0 with little moisture to speak of….

Yes, everyone watches the radar and is concerned… but the game is moving along.

Florida rescheduled a game when their starting QB was weather delayed.

NCAA is going to step in and take control of it. It was an issue in the Coastal Carolina regional as well.

You’re completely right. It’s gotten ridiculous. Play the game and get on with life. A middle school softball team would’ve played and gone home by now. My 90 year old grandma is out buying her Sunday groceries in this beautiful weather

That, sir, was a bona fide hurricane. It was not for some sprinkles in Morgan City.

UHigh was playing a game across the street while LSU was in a lightning delay last week.

No they weren’t. That was teams in our regional using their field to warm up.

So lighting only strikes you if you are playing a game ? Not just warming up ?

That went nowhere near sunny Gainesville.

If I remember correctly, other Florida universities played their home games that day as scheduled.

JJ is deathly afraid of having to use the bullpen

Horrible fan experience, but everyone would complain if we lost so…

yes it was.
they showed it during our game and the announcers even discussed it.

High school baseball season is over, so it damn sure wasn’t that.

No, it wasn’t, unless you think they had umpires on the field for their warmups. We weren’t playing so the other teams had no reason to be warming up yet. This is common sense.

You may not believe this but there’s still a shite ton of baseball being played in Louisiana by high school aged kids, and some of it even takes place on high school fields.

that’s not the “warmup” i’m talking about.

the one i’m talking about they showed during the broadcast and it was absolutely other team (don’t remember which specifically) that was warming up. and clearly not a game that was happening.
even the TV announcers said it was them.

so we are apparently talking about 2 different events.

The original comments were very clearly in reference to the game being played at UHigh during LSU’s Jay Delay, which is when that picture was taken.

Well the activity during the broadcast obviously didn’t occur during the weather delay so I’d say yes, you are talking about 2 different events.
