Both of these guys are smarter than to go at each other out in public like this. Sure, they both have huge egos, but something else is afoot.

No. You are wrong. For the past few months every single punit and GOP leader specifically said that the big beautiful bill was the #1 propriety and all of the DOGE cuts, EO’s and other things would soon go through after the BBB passes. I have heard this at least 100 times in the past few months
