The whole John Wick thing ran its course 45 minutes into the first film. If you're watching John Wick sequels, or Fast and the Furious, or super heroes or Dune, I don't know what to tell you.

I tend to lean toward your line of thinking about the Wicks. But beware, they are absolutely BELOVED on this site. So expect downvotes to rain down.

I enjoyed the Wick movie well enough for what they were, and they are impressive from a technical standpoint. I just didn't think they were very good/entertaining overall, and it sort of got old fast. I did binge the first three in about a week though, and then watched the 4th one a few weeks later.

I really like the 1st John Wick, the 2nd one was fun. After that is got to repetitive for me.

While I had issues with the 2nd movie, not sure how you're comparing Dune to the others you mentioned.

I have favorite parts. I also have parts that I hate and I believe did the story no justice.

I enjoyed the movie. Didn’t expect more than her doing John Wick type fighting and looking good. Check on both.

Not great, not terrible. Could have been 30 mins shorter with a little more Norman Reedus. Nice to see another Lance Reddick appearance.

I'm assuming he was AI'd. I just got out of the movie, it was far superior to MI. I do like the fact that she got the shite beaten out of her, repeatedly.

ETA: Flamethrowers with no fuel tanks were like W40k melta guns.

It’s really him. They filmed this late 2022, early 2023. This is his last screen appearance.

I saw it yesterday. I really liked it. Showed her training and I liked the story line. Glad to see Anjelica Huston is still around.

Seems there is an open for a sequel.

Spoiler alert - since she only killed the snake head and they up the bounty on her.
