Can’t imagine a professional driver making that big of a mistake. If it was me driving that rig, sure, but a professional driver? Wow

What he lacks in driving skills he makes up for in load securement, so I guess he can put that on his resume that he'll soon be freshening up.

50/50 it was one of those non-English speaking drivers they're trying to get rid of.

I feel like I would just quit and get an Uber if this happened to me.

I'm in the industry so my very first reaction was "well atleast he didn't spill the load"

He'll be fired and working for Western Express in a couple of weeks. That's considered trucker purgatory for an at fault accident like that - gotta spend a couple of years with the last resort companies making $40k/yr then work your way back to a good paying job. In reality working for Western is more of a punishment than the tow bills and tickets he'll get.

Most companies have a "no u turn" policy. If caught, they will be reintroduced to the general population.

There has been a rash of sand trucks dumping over in North Louisiana.

You would be surprised how many of them can’t speak English, more than 50% at least

Back in the early 90s, you could get eaten by nutria in East Jeff canals.

One of our drivers turned over one of our trucks on the interstate. He just abandoned it, and didn't tell us anything.
We didn't know he flipped the truck, but he wasn't showing up for work. We had no idea where the truck was, and we couldn't get in touch with him.
It wasn't until days later when someone called us and said "Um, you do know one of your trucks is lying on its side on the interstate, right?"
This was years ago before GPS tracking and in-cab cameras were standard.

I see trucks make sharper turns than that daily.
