Dont understand why they are taking so long. There were only 2 late games with 4 possible scenarios. This couldve easily been decided at 9pm and announced at 11:45pm

The late starts have worked well for us more times than not this year. 8pm works for me

most likely Sat-Sun-Mon at 8:00 pm. UCLA never plays at night so that leaves only Oregon St Super Regional west of us

UCLA played 10 games this season at home at 8pm Central Time. They play the majority of their games at 7pm Central Time. So this statement is false.

Im sure we'll be at 7 saturday and sunday. They're going to want LSU in primetime for the viewership numbers. I dont recall supers ever being day games in baton rouge

If it’s fri sat sun bring on the 8pm start. If they stick us with 11am slot you’ll be begging for the 8

I agree they’ll want us in primetime, but more importantly they’ll want us Saturday night vs Ark/tn if we win.

We’ve played day games before, I remember sweating my arse off against Baylor.

Stony Brook was either noon or 1pm first pitch on a Friday.

I don't mind it on Fri/Sat, but man it's rough on a work night. I haven't seen the end of either of the last 2.

I'm pretty confident that LSU's side of the bracket will be the Fri-Sun Supers.

(doesn't matter if you play Monday Regional or not) following suit with the last two alternating years 2023 where 2nd seed, 3rd, 6th, and 7th played Friday Supers, and 2024 had those same seeds start Saturday.

My guess on Friday times:
Duke and Murray at Noon EPSN
UCLA vs UTSA at 3pm ESPN2
LSU vs West Virginia at 6pm ESPNU
Arkansas vs Tennessee 7pm ESPN2
(with LSU moving to ESPN if Softball World Series does not go to game 3)

Is there any way to project if LSU would play on Friday or Saturday for game 1 CWS, assuming they win the super regional?

Yes, if (they should be) they are in the Friday Supers schedule, those teams play in Bracket 1 of the CWS.

idk why they don’t determine those before the tournament starts.

Determining it before the tournament would be stupid. You dont want someone playing into tuesday having to play on friday
