This shouldn’t be long. It’s one cell to the northwest. Once that clears it’s time to play.

Someone get the Northwestern St coach on the cellular phone and see what they did during the rain delay a few weeks ago and let's copy that routine.

2023 Super Regional vibes. Turn a 2:00 PM game into a 8:00 PM start.

I'm guessing 4 or 5pm. They have to try and get two games in today.

The worry is the 4:00 window. It’s supposed to rain from 4:00 to 5:00.

Supposed to rain during one specific window 3 hours from now? Do you have the lottery numbers too?

HOnest question...I was going to attend tomorrow and Sunday games but got stuck at work in Ocean Springs...a little over two hours away. Depending on the length of delay, I may be able to pickup my stuff and head that way if it ends up being a 5 p.m. start. How bad is the weather there?

It just cleared Houston, now the sun is starting to come out. The whole thing started at10:30 and it’s 1:00 and it’s clear with the sun coming out

Are you new here? Cells pop up from nowhere this time of year.

This is why it's always smart to take the early game. Now the 2/3 seeds will have to play 2x tomorrow.

I trust tBoat on weather info.
That said, if Jay has any say in the start time, it won't be until he is sure the game can be played without the risk of a delay. If that means lobbying for a 8:00 pm, 9:00 pm, 10:00 pm start, that's what he will do

tBoat, do you expect the system currently moving into SWLA to effect anything later tonight?

This is more than typical summer convection. There’s a system moving through. Why the cells are all moving instead of sitting there.
A few beer typos in there.
