Doubt it.
Nintendo avoids woke culture war nonsense and they’re highly protective of their IP’s image. No way they risk controversy that could make the movie a box office flop and cause damage to the reputation one of their most valuable franchises. Zelda is only behind Mario and Pokemon as far as Nintendo’s biggest cash cows.
“Twitter rumor” sounds like a few leftys wishcasting and trying to push for it because he/she looks kind of like Zelda.
