This movie feels like it should have been a Disney+ series…CGI is really bad, acting is even worse. Even Ford is bad, dude must be going broke to have signed on for this

It was rough. The add came on last night for it, and the kids got excited about a new Captain America movie. The wife and I watched it last week and could hardly remember anything about it.

They had a chance to real me back in with this movie and totally missed the mark. Aside from the numerous problems seems like everything post Endgame in the MCU spends more time setting up the next movie than it does actually caring that its a good movie on it's own.

Total nonsense. He gets broken ribs and stabbed, then he’s running around next day like nothing ever happened.

Just watched it last night out of pure curiosity
Guess SPOILERS but ...
Sam should have died multiple times
Wtf was up with the attempted Widow 4' tall security chief - was that some weird DEI hire? It just seemed totally out of place
All that build up for 3 minutes of Red Hulk at the very end was lame
Leader's potential was wasted after the huge time between his intro and this
The whole movie just seemed pointless
Guess SPOILERS but ...

Yeah I fell asleep shortly after Bradley attacked the president…the new Falcon is also a pretty terrible actor, the banter between he, captain, and Bradley just seemed forced and weird.
Then “oh that guy attacked me so our avengers deal is off we talked about 5 minutes ago” huh?
Even the usually good Esposito seems off in this

I grew up a comic nerd and loved almost everything MCU before covid. It’s so terrible now. Go look up the writers credits to this movie, they’re all terrible. Same with all the other writers/directors since Endgame. I saw an article from last year that perfectly sums up how the MCU has gotten to this point that is well worth the 5 minutes to read. If it weren’t for RDJ demanding the Russo brothers and same writer from their movies being included in Doomsday/Secret Wars, those would be just as bad, guaranteed.

I didnt care for it
I wasnt aware that it wouldnt make sense if you hadnt watched the Disney+ series. Which I didnt. I kept trying to understand how all these new people fit in

One of the biggest misses was to have him turn down the serum in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Like... why not? I would be, "I'm about to throw my mortal arse into battle, and this guy has Captain America in a syringe, I'm taking that shite."

We watched it Saturday. It was okay. Nothing remarkable. Their handling of the Thunderbolt Ross/Red Hulk story was decent, and I'm glad they finally tied up all the loose ends from the original Hulk movie.
I'd put it above Eternals, either Captain Marvel movie, Black Panther 2, many of the MCU TV shows but I'm too lazy to make a list right now, Thor 4, etc.
It's one of the better MCU movies since Endgame, which is more of an indictment of MCU movies since Endgame than a recommendation for this movie.

Just watched it.... man that sucked. I think the whole "this is garbage" come rom Sam not having anything "Super" about it. He has had that stigma since he was introduced. How is this normal human(not Tony Stark with AI) keeping up with 2 Super soldiers (Cap and WS), a Norse God, a Hulk, a Genius billionaire with super advanced tech, and a super advanced tech African with Super soldier flower potion.
I think this movie woudl have been a D+/C movie if he had Super serum. Yet it fell to an F. They had the chance for him to become super in Falcon and WS.
They are leaning way to hard into the race aspect.
Sucks Anthony Mackie has turned out to be this guy, seem like he had so much potient to be a great actor, after The Hurt Locker and The Adjustment Bureau. But it seems he gravitates to these roles where race plays a huge part. He seems really full of himself in al the behind the scenes footage, like yelling "Cash the Check" after a shoot is done. Then he and Matt Mascona getting in to a fight at the NC game in 2019... While Matt was being a drunk idiot, Anthony being famous could have defused the situation better.

AM is not a great Cap and a woman leading the Thunderbolts hurt the movie. This will drag down future movies as well.
