Man that was one of the best baseball games I've ever seen.

Paul Skenes absolutely dealing against Rhett Lowder. They both broke their conference record for strikeouts in a season in that game if I'm not mistaken.

Tre Morgan makes the greatest defensive play in LSU history

Tommy walks it off with a fricking bomb to send the tigers to the finals

What an amazing game

The single best baseball game I’ve seen in my life. Obviously I’m biased having a rooting interest in the outcome but the level of play combined with what was at stake makes it #1 for me easily

Tommy Tanks is turning into Tommy Sedan with the weight loss. Nice swing.

No doubt he would have been.
But Unfortunately that's the nature of the game now. Transfers and NIL changed college baseball.
I'm just glad we can pay these studs and get them to put off pro ball for a couple years while playing at Alex Box.

Curiel and Dickinson are absolute professionals among our rising college stars on any given night at Alex Box. It's obvious to the fans who go to all the home games. You may not notice it on TV

Or some A&M Fan trolling.
That game was easily a top 5 All-Time Game in LSU Baseball History, including the CWS Winners.

I was in Alaska during the CWS that year and had been working at the start of the game and was about 30 min away from the hotel. Game is 0-0 when I finish and haul arse in the rental car to this dingy sports bar next to my hotel. We get there while wakes pitcher is warming up so I run to the bathroom watching the game on my phone while my buddy gets a table, as I start to pee I hear the “ding” and “HE HUNG ONE” and dropped my phone out of excitement and it almost went in the dang urinal. It didn’t and the good guys one. Was quite the win-win. Hell of a day to be a Tiger fan.

I'd argue it's the only drop off on the team, regardless of position. White just happened to be one of the better players in the country the last 2 years.

1B - same
2B - better
SS - better
3B - worse
LF - better
CF - better
RF - better
C - better
DH - better

SP1 - better
SP2 - better
SP3 - better

BP arm 1 (Cowan) - same as Herring, Herring maybe slightly better.
BP arm 2 (Evans) - better than Guidry as he can go longer

I'll take some combination of Shores, Rizy, Williams, Mayers, Schmidt, Ware, Primeaux, Fontenot, Benge, etc. over what the back end was last year.

I love the video of Doug Thompson standing up watching that and he’s saying “get out of here ball, get out” and when it clears the bleachers, he runs out of the broadcast booth and into the hall to scream.
