When an arson investigator begrudgingly teams up with a police detective, their race to stop two arsonists ignites a twisted game of secrets and suspicions.
Taron Egerton teams up with the creator of Black Bird again for a 9-episode limited series about the true events related to a serial arsonist in California. Adapted from the true-crime podcast Firebug.

Reminds me of Backdraft, but with Apples track record it will probably be much better.

Thank god I can watch this tonight.
Netflix blows as a streaming service.
Irrelevant documentary + Korean show + terrible teen drama is now Netflix

Saw the first two episodes and probably not watch anymore. They want me to feel sympathy for Milkjug, but I don't. Seemed like lots of filler.
This would have been better with one arsonist and a 2.5 hour movie.
I would go a little more into detail, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

Jurnee is hot in this. Predictable on who 2nd arsonist is.

Watched the 2-3? episodes this weekend.
Jurnee is not still Lovecraft Country era hot, but her body, yeesh. Not going to complain.
SPOILERS
The twist was fairly predictable but doesn't mean it was bad. I actually like letting you know he was one of the arsonists so you can see the tension building up.
Not sure if I'm reading the character right but is Dave supposed to be a little slow/autistic or something? I get you have to be off to be an arsonist but he is very childlike. It's almost like his wife has to treat him like a child as well. Then he does this apology to her and says "I want to be there for you... whatever that means." Like he literally doesn't know what it means to be there for his wife. Just really odd.
My one gripe so far, and it's a big one, is Jurnee's character shooting the fireman and that just being swept under the rug. I mean that was just so freaking dumb and she never would have got away with that. Her explanation was so dumb and they just immediately wrote it off as something that didn't need to be looked into anymore. She see's him loading up big guns so she does down into his basement to shoot him because I guess he was going to kill people. Gtfo.

Started pretty strong but is getting dumber
I'll probably finish it though.
I had no idea who Jurnee was, but agree with the comments

Aside from Jurnee’s Rambo move, I have enjoyed the first few episodes. Glad I didn’t watch the trailer first.

Pretty solid so far. The shooting the weird prepper guy was pretty stupid but other than that not bad. Really enjoying the story arc with the other arsonist. Have not seen him in anything I don't think and he is really knocking it out of the park.

Was going to mention that if anyone didn't like the show, Firebug itself was somewhat entertaining, but it looks like their back catalog has succumbed to one of those bullshite paywalls.
