Jack Cline

5/21/25 5 IP 69 Pitches
5/24/25 9 IP 129 Pitches

Jackson Wells

5/21/25 9 IP 129 Pitches

Do we see wells on extended rest or Cline on short wrest after a huge work load.

Reminds me of Cowan at Wofford last year.

I would think Wells. Not sure that the Trojans are going to keep up with the Tigers that 1st game and might not want to use their best pitcher on short rest

They’re young kids that most likely don’t have a professional future

They will blow their arms and bodies out if need be.

Cline would be on 5 days rest. It is amazing how soft baseball fans have become.

I hope you’re not suggesting we use both of them in the first game.

I couldn't help it. I know how sensitive of a topic this is at the moment.

I think the suggestion is that if they do pitch, they may not have their best stuff. I think everyone understands that most of the UALR type schools have kids that will lay it all on the line for these games. But just because they are willing to throw on short rest doesn’t mean they’ll be effective.

We are going to win by 10. I hope we don’t waste an ace on this team. Worst RPI in the tournament, they’re just happy to be here.

It’s amazing how ignorant some of our fans have become. This isn’t fricking travel ball.
