Lately i go to Frady's in the Bywater for roast beef. I've tried so many and they have the best cheap poboy in town. Most cheap ones are that crap pre slice meat but Frady's is old school.
Avery's was a favorite of mine for the bacon and oyster poboy but they have closed.
Every time i talk to people i know they only mention the same spots. Parentons is another favorite. And next to it central poboy is just as good.
I'm just trying to see if they're are other hidden gems.
If i can find a new "All that Jazz"

Damn. That's exactly what I'm missing from Averys.
I like the Ray Ray at Sammys too. It's ham and swiss on fried chicken and instead of dressed i just get it with dijon mustard.
.
The All that Jazz used to be a favorite of mine from Verti Mart its so messy and there is no where to eat there so i don't go often.

Arabi Food Store on Friscoville in Arabi across from the old Arabi Elementary School.
Just about any po-boy is good and they make a damn good muffaletta too.
Olympia Food Store near me on Olympia St. in Mid-City on the corner of Palmyra makes a pretty good shrimp po-boy for a Vietnamese owned business.

Roast beef poboy from Harry’s in Larose. Side of the road type place, but the roast beef is always great there.

It don't take much to be cheaper than Parkway. That place is very proud of their sandwiches, and the prices reflect it.
Get the name, the tourist attraction and raise the prices-----make bank.
