Assuming he makes it to the season what are the actual expectations for BB? What record does he need to get to not be laughed at for all the "mistakes" he's been making the past year with Jordon Hudson.

1st year in the conference and ended up with a cupcake schedule. Doesn't have to deal with any of the popular picks outside of Clemson..no SMU, no Miami, no Louisville, no Georgia Tech. At least until the title game.

UNC goes 3-1 or 4-0 for OOC play, They'll be playing a 3-1 or 4-0 Clemson, ranked 1st or 2nd if they take care of business vs LSU.

Win- Cal, Virginia, Stanford, Wake Forest, Duke
TBD- Syracuse, NC State
Loss- Clemson

Anything short of 9-3 should be seen as a huge failure.

quote:

Schedule-
September 1st vs TCU
September 6th @ Charlotte
September 13th vs Richmond
September 20th @ UCF
OFF
October 4 vs Clemson
OFF
October 17th @ Cal
October 25th vs Virginia
October 31st @ Syracuse
November 8th vs Stanford
November 15th @ Wake Forest
November 22nd vs Duke
November 29th @ NC State

He could probably go 8-4 or 9-3 with that schedule with his eyes closed.

His eyes are closed.

Anyone heard about anything he’s done football-wise that signals a shift in UNC football culture?

He’s a distraction to the program. He’s exactly what he despised for the majority of his career.

He will crash and burn this summer. He’s already doing stupid stuff due to her.

I sure haven't. There's also zero roster breakdown in the OP, so I don't understand the presupposition that UNC is even good when overanalyzing their schedule. Duke was a 9-win team last season. Why would they be an automatic win?

UNC has had two 9-win seasons this century, but anything less than 9-3 this year would be a "huge failure"?

It’s North Carolina. Let’s start with a bowl game.

The only definite losses I see are Clemson and @ Syracuse.

UCF, Clemson, Cal, Cuse, Duke, and NC State are all legitimate loss opportunities. I have them as a 7 or 8 win team because they will lose to a couple of these teams and could easily pick up another L against a team like Virginia or Wake although they’ll be favored.

I would say showing signs of being a good team and winning 8 games would be a good season for them

I went to UNC for 2 years and still have several connections in the AD. I have low expectations. 7-8 wins is a successful season for me.

I did not want them to hire Belicheck.

Because Bill Belichick is the greatest coach of all time and everything we've seen so far shows that he is dialing it in. Either he's confident or doesn't give a shite or both.

Bad roster. QBs struggled in the spring and they lack playmakers at offensive skill positions. Lost one of their best defensive players to portal post-spring
