A&m/state pushed back to today, with 3 more games following. Auburn will not play that winner until tomorrow morning....then 3 more games to follow. Looks like a double header Sat if we win...

Thursday and Friday only have 2 games scheduled

So unless there’s a lot more rain, should be caught up by Friday night

Only two games were scheduled for Friday. LSU's start time does not change. A game was added to Friday morning when nothing was scheduled.

There were originally 2. Auburn's Wednesday night game is now scheduled for Thursday morning due to last night's rain out.

Unless three more games get delayed, LSU will be playing Friday night.

There's absolutely no reason 16 teams should be in this tournament. It makes for a lot of useless games and there's always rain. You run the risk of teams with nothing to play for having to use their better pitchers on a Saturday before regionals. Mizzou and USC have given up so none of their fans watched those games yesterday anyway. It was not an entertaining day of baseball for anyone. At least double elimination with the better teams was more entertaining. And it gave teams something to play for because going 1-2 could hurt your RPI

Which is probably why most coaches voted for the new format. According to Jay, him, Corbin and the Bama coach are the only ones who voted against it.

Should have cut it off at 12 and still start on Tues. Then you get to end on Saturday giving teams playing in regionals an extra day.

Chances are they wanted to give the full 16 a shot in case someone is on the bubble and goes on a run, or maybe a slight upset could give an extra SEC a low seed and increase the # of teams in the tournament

I like the current format, but if you are going to cut it off, make it at 14. Take this year for example, Kentucky is at 13th (13-17) and has an RPI of 37.

They are a bubble team right now and could have used a couple wins in this tournament to help their resume.

A&M is beating the socks off Moo State today, so LSU will likely play the winner of Aggies & Auburn friday

2 runs away from a run rule.

Has Auburn announce pitching rotation?
