This is all about Mark Middleton, a former Clinton WH aide. He was hung with an electrical cord and shot in the chest with a shotgun.

Excellent question from that reporter concerning Epstein.
He asked the proper question in terms of the intelligence people facilitating statutory rape to gain leverage over rich and powerful people.
Most people dance around intelligence community culpability concerning Epstein. Happy to see at least one reporter asking about the intelligence community surrounding Epstein.

More like a way to suffer in great pain as you asphyxiate.
A shotgun blast at point blank to the chest may not immediately kill you. Brain is still intact and the body will continue trying to keep itself alive until the brain is deprived of oxygen. That could take 90-120 seconds from an extension cord noose. Plus, the mechanics of shooting yourself in the chest with a shotgun isn't exactly easy if you're upright and maintaining balance beneath a tree with a noose around your neck.
Sure, it's possible but it's really damn elaborate. Much easier to sit down under the tree, put the shotgun under your chin and press the trigger with your thumb. Lights out, instantly.
Oh, and Epstein didn't kill himself.
I had a friend that hooked a ratchet strap to some A-frames in his back yard and put the long end around his neck and just sat down without a chair beneath him. Easily could have just stood up and backed out but he was committed to death. If people want to go, they're going to go. Our self preservation instinct overrides basically everything in our processors, so I can't imagine how strong the desire to die must be, to do something like that.
