Are you aware the MVP is a regular season award?

Pretty sad that you spend this much time trolling multiple boards.

Yes. He proved it this series actually.

I selfishly hope SGA gets it anyway, and it’s a pretty good shot, but Jokic is clearly both the best player in the world right now and the most valuable player to any team in the NBA.

And if he played for OKC they probably sweep this round

Are you aware that SGA set an all time record for biggest point differential this year?

Yes. But perhaps I'm biased

If SGA wins it, I'll be ok with it though

yes

He had one of the best seasons of all time. He is an all time floor raising player who dragged a very injured team to game 7 in round 2 against a 68 win team

Injured himself though he'll never say a word about it.

Beyond not being a thing it’s fundamentally a team stat

If you combine the teams, Joker’s the only Nugget in the starting 5

The fact that this series went 7 is a testament to his greatness and why he’s the worthy MVP. If not for voter fatigue this is #5 in a row

Not an individual statistic. The actual +/- record was set by Joker a couple years ago. This season SGA’s +/- was 15th best alltime.

Jokic has been the best player in the NBA 5 years running. I don't think he wins MVP this year though, even though he deserves it.

Because he didnt have to play at all the fourth quarter most games. His +/- per minute beat anything kobe ever did

And? When context only always goes in one direction it isn’t context, it’s bias.

He just lost by 40. Jokic is the best overall player but SGA had a better season.

Just like Shaq was a better player than Steve Nash but Nash still won mvp.
